In March 2021, for Women’s History Month, Farmer and the Felon’s WAMM collab honored Valerie Corral, and her incredible story of struggle and perseverance. Supported by a content marketing campaign, this launch featured video and blog content including a six-minute documentary about WAMM plus social videos about the collaboration.
Working with Farmer and the Felon Brand Manager Rachel Smith, we coordinated a limited-edition product drop with a partner cultivator, Valerie Corral at WAMM. The flower launch was supported by a robust content marketing campaign that included a mini-documentary about WAMM, blog content, original photography, print ads and more.
Farmer and the Felon’s Partner Series line showcases exceptional jarred flower from the cultivators and industry trailblazers whose values are aligned with Farmer and the Felon’s, speaking to their brand pillars of Community, Cultural Preservation, Authenticity, and Advocacy.
WAMM (Wo/Men’s Alliance for Medical Marijuana) and its founder Valerie Corral’s story embodies every one of those brand pillars. Having struggled through raids and arrests, WAMM persevered in their mission to make cannabis accessible to low-income people who need it most, successfully suing the Federal government and ultimately winning an injunction after a 2002 raid that destroyed their garden.
As a co-author of Prop 215, Val was very influential in setting the stage for the medical market, and currently WAMM is relaunching as WAMM Phytotherapies in order to continue serving their community.
